A bit about me
I graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with degrees in Environmental Studies and Geosciences - fields I'm still passionate about today.
I found myself working in a water testing laboratory during the pandemic, a job that was both engaging and challenging. However, I found that despite my love of science and analysis, something was missing, and I realized I was lacking an interpersonal aspect to my career that I so desperately wanted.
I applied for jobs at Walt Disney World - both at the parks as well as in the offices. I found myself working in internal communications as well as the green-technology spaces. While I enjoyed my work in green-tech, I discovered two things; firstly, I truly love communications and social media coordination, and secondly, that I'm also quite good at it.
My drive to make a difference in people's day-to-day lives proved pivotal in my success in the communications world, and I've spent my days working on content strategy, managing engagement campaigns, defining our team's brand, and conducting engagement analysis.
I am now fulfilling a dream I didn't even know that I had - creating engaging, fun, and interesting content for people all around the world.

I am an empathetic and dependable person, traits that extend into my professional life as well. I pride myself on my exceptional communication skills and have often been called an organized and adaptable individual. I am open-minded, willing to learn, and I'm not afraid to think outside the box or try nontraditional methods to get things done.
During my time at university, I was able to teach myself basic HTML coding skills for a personal project, and taught myself how to use graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Procreate.
I organized a fundraiser at my university and was able to raise thousands of dollars for a local charity. This event is now an annual campus tradition. I've independently worked on plans for a campus garden, as well as accepted invitations to speak for entry level classes.
During my summer interning at a local congressional office, I did everything from speaking to constituents, to familiarizing myself with policy, to writing correspondence for the Congressman.
I have a proven track record of acting calmly and decisively under pressure. I'm independent, a self-starter, and a great motivator. I'm hoping to find an opportunity to work with a company that values these characteristics in their team members.
